Vintage Cellar's Review:
“The bouquet is floral and lightly jammy, with berry aromas and a savory note or two. To the uninitiated, this is a great introduction to Bonarda. Finishes solid. Very sweet, berry smell with some rooty undertones. Kind of dry, makes your lips pucker.”

My Review:
Huge aromas on the nose that reminded me of a darker jam made of plums, blackberries and other darker fruit. The palate is engulfed initially in fruit and finishes with oaky and spicy hints. I do not think it was well balanced due to the earthy/tobacco-y component drowning the fruit flavors. It had harder tannins, pronounced flavors, and finished dry.

Tasted without food.
