2010 Wilson Daniels Sauvignon Blanc Tasting

Name: Wilson Daniels Sauvignon Blanc
Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Central Coast, California
Country: United States
Year: 2010
Price: $7.95

Vintage Cellar's Review:
“Orange blossom and citrus permeate the aromas. Alluring flavors of orange and grapefruit dominate the palate. Bright acidity balances the plush mouthfeel, resulting in a clean finish.”

My Review:
Huge wafts of citrus on the nose along with a Granny Smith apple smell. The body was initially citrusy, and then had hints of crisp apples. It is well balanced with a nice acidity, but I believe a bit more chilling in the refrigerator would do this wine wonders to help balance the sugar and acidity. Overall, delicious, mouth-puckering and great for a hot summer’s day!

Tasted without food.
