It is very concentrated for a Cotes du Rhone, and is actually an amazing wine. Classic garrigue, black cherry liqueur, lavender, licorice and spice box are all present in this fullbodied, intense, and rich Cotes du Rhone. This is a sensational effort to drink over the next 4-5 years, although it might last even longer.”

My Review:
An intriguing French boxed wine. I got hints of blueberry and dark berry jam on the nose coupled with a bit of warm, but not hot spice. The body was filled with a licorice spice at first and then mellowed out with fruit such as cherries and berries shining. Overall, very bold, hard tannins, needs to mellow out for a few years and a bit too spicy and unbalanced.
